Suspend Coupon

If you need to suspend a coupon on your customer’s domestic ticket please complete our online Suspend Coupon Service Request. 

The following domestic fares may be suspended:

For all tickets issued prior to the 4th November 2020

Red eDeal Fares

  • Booked in E, O, Q, N, S, V, L classes
  • Do not permit changes on day of departure 
  • The coupon will be suspended automatically within several hours of no-show without action by you
  • The coupon can be suspended if the customer cancels their flight and forfeits the coupon on day of travel

Flex Fares

  • Booked in M, K, H, B, Y classes
  • Permit changes up to 30 minutes prior to scheduled flight departure time 
  • Can only be suspended if the customer has no-showed

The following conditions apply:

  • This service is only available for Qantas domestic tickets  
  • Only Qantas operated and marketed flights can be suspended 
  • Coupons must be suspended in date order 
  • Requests cannot be submitted for future dated travel
  • Coupons to be suspended must be in O or A status
  • If forfeiting a coupon, cancel the flight before submitting the request to suspend coupon

Note:

Suspended coupons cannot be reinstated, reissued or revalidated.

Red eDeal Fares

  • Booked in E, O, Q, N, S, V, L, M  classes
  • Do not permit changes on day of departure 
  • The coupon will be suspended automatically within several hours of no-show without action by you
  • E, O, Q, N, S, V, L classes - the coupon can be suspended if the customer cancels their flight and forfeits the coupon on day of travel.
  • M class - the coupon can be suspended if the customer cancels their flight and forfeits the coupon on day of travel, please call Qantas Agency Connect on 13 17 11.

Flex Fares

  • Booked in K, H, B, Y classes
  • Permit changes up to 30 minutes prior to scheduled flight departure time 
  • Can only be suspended if the customer has no-showed

The following conditions apply:

  • Red eDeal fares in E, O, Q, N, S, V, L, M can be suspended prior to the scheduled departure time on day of travel and past travel dates. It is not permitted to suspend future dated coupons.
  • Red eDeal fare in M class can be suspended if the customer has no-showed. Past travel dates can be suspended at any time.  On the day of travel, please call Qantas Agency Connect on 13 17 11 to suspend the M class coupon.
  • Flex fares in K, H, B, Y can only be suspended if the customer has no-showed. Past travel dates can be suspended at any time.
  • Contact the Qantas Agency Connect Team on 13 17 11 to suspend coupons in booking classes that are not mentioned above.
  • To suspend your customer's flight coupons the status must be O (open) or A (airport control). Any other coupon status cannot be suspended. Coupons can only be suspended in date order.
  • Flight coupons can be suspended for Qantas operated and marketed Australian domestic flights only. Please cancel any unwanted flights prior to submitting the request.
  • Once suspended, the status of the flight coupon cannot be changed
