Qantas requirements for international travel

Qantas is gradually restarting international services, with the first commercial flights now scheduled to resume between Sydney and Los Angeles and Sydney and London (Heathrow) from 1 November 2021 for Australian citizens, permanent residents and their immediate families including parents in line with Australian Government requirements.

Qantas brings forward international flights to 1 November

Qantas will bring forward the restart of its international flights by two weeks to 1 November 2021 after the Federal and New South Wales governments have confirmed borders will now reopen on that date. 

Qantas adds new routes from Darwin to Far North Queensland

In a major boost to connectivity across Northern Australia, Qantas will add two new routes from the top end to Far North Queensland next year - Darwin to Townsville and Darwin to Cairns.
