A business owner needs to register each business' ABN with the Qantas Business Rewards program in order for that business to earn Qantas Points. Under the Airline Reward Scheme, no member or group (regardless of the number of group members) is entitled to earn more than the maximum number of Qantas Points specified in the airline earn table in any Membership Year.
Yes, you are welcome to join Qantas Business Rewards and earn on most partners, but only GST-registered businesses are eligible to earn Qantas Points from flights. If you need to update the GST status on your Qantas Business Rewards account after you join, please use the contact us form to advise the change.
Generally it will take up to 24 hours for GST status to be updated. For any further enquiries, call the Qantas Business Rewards Service Centre on 13 74 78.
Qantas Points in the Qantas Business Rewards program will only expire if a member does not earn or transfer Qantas Points at least once in a consecutive 18 month period.
The earn date is the day the Qantas Business Rewards program partner advises us that the activity took place.
For Eligible Flights, the earn date is the date that the flight was taken.
The transfer date is the date on which Qantas Points are transferred from the business' Qantas Business Rewards account to an individual Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
If you terminate your business' Qantas Business Rewards membership, any Qantas Points in your business' account will expire.
We recommend you consult your accountant or tax advisor to ensure you understand possible tax implications, for example fringe benefits tax (if applicable).
Account Managers or their delegates who have access to all features can add or remove users or change user permissions on the Qantas Business Rewards website once logged in.
To change the account manager, the existing account manager should send an email to email@example.com from the email address currently listed in the Qantas Business Rewards account. The email needs to contain a written authorisation on company letterhead, hand signed by the existing account manager with the following details of the new account manager:

Alternatively, if required, the business owner, director, CEO or authorised senior executive may send the request via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, with the requested information on signed company letterhead. It may take up to three business days to change the account manager, once the email request has been received.
Before activating the change of account manager, we will also send an email to the existing account manager, and requester if separate, seeking confirmation of the change request within two business days. For any further enquiries, call the Qantas Business Rewards Service Centre on 13 74 78.
