Qantas Business Rewards is a rewards program designed for Australian small to medium sized businesses with an active ABN. Members can access exclusive discounts on eligible Qantas flights and earn Qantas Points for their business on everyday business expenses such as Qantas flights, hotels, car hire, petrol, insurance, technology, stationery and much more.
The key difference is that Qantas Business Rewards is a program for businesses and Qantas Frequent Flyer is a program for individuals.
Qantas Business Rewards is a loyalty rewards program that rewards Australia-based businesses with an active ABN with Qantas Points for business expenses. Qantas Points earned by the business can then be transferred, at a minimum of 3,000 per transfer, to an individual's Qantas Frequent Flyer membership account and redeemed for rewards. Once they have been transferred to an individual's Qantas Frequent Flyer account, they are subject to Qantas Frequent Flyer terms and conditions. The Qantas Frequent Flyer program is a loyalty program which rewards individual members with Qantas Points for flying with Qantas and partner airlines, using a direct earn credit or charge card, purchasing from partners, or with Qantas Points transferred from the Qantas Business Rewards program.
Frequent Flyer members who fly for business continue to earn their Qantas Points and Status credits as normal, however the business now earns additional Qantas Points on top of what the traveller earns. Once the business wishes to redeem their points earned via Qantas Business Rewards, they can then transfer points at a minimum of 3,000 per transfer to any nominated Frequent Flyer account to redeem on flights, upgrades, purchases in the Qantas Store and much more.
