When booking via your Qantas Business Rewards account, qantas.com (under ‘travelling for business’) and the Qantas app, you will see a 'Member Deals' flag on specific fares, along with the saving (either in $ or points, depending on the currency you're booking with). When booking via an Agent, you will need to tell your agent your membership level, and they will then be able to access Member Deal discounts on your behalf.
The number of Qantas Points earned on Eligible Flights by your business each Membership Year determines your business' level in Qantas Business Rewards. There are 3 membership levels, and as at 15 March 2022, the Point earn required in a year, is as follows:
Level 1: 0-14,999 points
Level 2: 15,000 – 79,999 points
Level 3: 80,000+ points
Your member level is important, as it determines the applicable points earn and Member flight Savings as well as the Qantas Club discount level your business is entitled to. Please refer to the more detailed information on Membership Levels here.
As soon as your business earns above the next threshold, we will automatically upgrade your account. If your business does not earn the required points in its membership year to maintain it’s level, your account may be downgraded at the anniversary of your membership. Don’t worry though, we will provide you with notice prior to this occurring.
Yes, all Qantas flights for your business can be conveniently booked and managed through Qantas Business Rewards. Once logged in, members will have discounts and Qantas Points for eligible flights automatically applied. Alternatively you may wish to book through your preferred travel agent.
If your booking was made through a travel agent, ask your agent to change the ABN to the correct one before you travel. If your booking was made on qantas.com or through a Qantas Contact Centre, please call the Qantas Contact Centre on 13 74 78 (and select Option 2) between 7AM to 7PM Monday to Friday (AEST) and Qantas will amend the ABN for you.
For the first flight, you will need to call the Qantas Business Rewards Service Centre on 13 74 78 between 7AM to 7PM (AEST) Monday to Friday for assistance in claiming points, between 7 and 90 days after the flight.
To ensure your business earns Qantas Business Rewards Points on future flights, confirm the correct ABN has been entered by: asking your travel agent to change the ABN to the correct one if your booking was made through a travel agency; if your booking was made on qantas.com or through a Qantas Contact Centre, please call Qantas Contact Centre on 13 74 78 (and select Option 2). They can amend the ABN for you. To earn points for your business, both a valid ABN and Frequent Flyer number must be included in the booking.
An eligible flight to earn Qantas Points is a regular scheduled flight operated by Qantas, Emirates or American Airlines with a Qantas ‘QF' flight number shown on the ticket that was purchased in Australia and ticketed on a Qantas (081) ticket and excludes:

To be able to manage a Classic Flight Reward or Points Plus Pay - Flight, you’ll need to have permission to ‘Manage Company Bookings’ and ‘Use Points for your business’ checked in your profile.
To change an upcoming flight, navigate to the ‘Manage Company Bookings’ tool within your Qantas Business Rewards account, and click ‘Manage’. This will then allow you to make a change to your booking.
If someone in your business has booked a Classic Flight Reward for you on an upcoming flight, you’ll need to reach out to a travel arranger with the permissions outlined above to make a change. Bookings paid for in cash or Points Plus Pay can continue to be changed online via qantas.com.

Only Account Users with Full Access permission can access saved Company credit cards. When your stored travellers book for themselves under your ABN (through Qantas.com or via the Qantas App) they will not have access to company credit cards saved in your Qantas Business Rewards account.
As you go through the booking process, qantas.com guides you where to input the ABN. However, if you've been added as a stored traveller with self-booking enabled in Qantas Business Rewards, simply log in to your Frequent Flyer account on qantas.com and choose ‘travelling for business' in the booking flow. The ABN will be automatically added.
You'll also have access to exclusive member savings on flights ensuring maximum cost savings for the business.
Members who use a travel agent can continue to do so – your Agent will be able to assist you in making the most of your member benefits.
An account manager is the individual who sets up the account and represents the business for Qantas Business Rewards. The account manager has full permission for all functions related to the account and is able to add and manage other users, transfer Qantas Points to an individual's Qantas Frequent Flyer membership account, make and amend flight bookings on behalf of the business and access the business' Points Activity Statement.
Other users can be added by the account manager or their delegate and can manage various account functions according to the permissions they are given. These are clearly displayed on the manage usersOpens external site page within the account. Functions include:

To enable self-booking for travellers, they must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, be added as a traveller in your Qantas Business Rewards account, and have this feature enabled in the Manage peopleOpens external site page.
Once enabled, they can log in to the Qantas app or qantas.com and when searching for flights, will be given the option to book flights for a personal or business trip.
You can enable and disable self-booking for travellers on an individual basis from the Manage peopleOpens external site page.
Your travellers will automatically receive the Flyer Bonus every time your ABN and their Qantas Frequent Flyer number is entered into an eligible booking made under your Qantas Business Rewards membership. The Flyer Bonus is on top of the points and status credits they already earn. There is no limit to how often a traveler can earn the Flyer Bonus, and it’s on top of any additional Bonus points or Status Credits offer they may be eligible for at the time of booking.
Points will be awarded to the Frequent Flyers account within 6 weeks from the data of travel.
A Gold Accelerator is an offer enabling Frequent Flyers to achieve Gold status faster, by reducing the status credit earn criteria to 200 status credits in a 90 day period. Once the 200 status credits are earned within the 90 day period, the traveller will automatically be upgraded to Gold for a minimum of 12 months.
From 15 March 2022, every Level 3 member, will gain access to one Gold Accelerator per membership year. Enabling the business to nominate a Frequent Flyer from their business to receive the offer. The Frequent Flyer should either be new to Qantas Frequent Flyer, or Bronze or Silver tier in order to benefit.
The Account Manager is able to nominate a single Frequent Flyer to receive the offer. The traveller must be a stored traveller in the business’s Qantas Business Rewards account.
In order to make your nomination, please complete the form within your Qantas Business Rewards account by the 15th of the month, to register your selected Frequent Flyer’s details, and select the month that you would like to Accelerator to start.
Once the nomination is received, it will be processed and the nominee will be notified on the start of their Gold Accelerator period.. The Gold Accelerator will commence on the 1st of the month nominated, and the Frequent Flyer will have 90 days in order to earn the required Status Credit limit. If successful, the Frequent Flyer will be notified of their Gold membership, and will remain on that tier for a period of at least 12 months.
As long as your business remains a Level 3 member, you will be able to nominate another Frequent Flyer in your next membership year.
Once a nomination is received for your business, the nomination form will close until your next membership year. If you believe the message to be an error, please call the Qantas Business Rewards Service Centre (13 74 78, Option 1 - Mon-Fri 7am-7pm AEST) and one of our team can assist you.
All Level 3 members will be eligible to make one Gold Accelerator nomination per membership year. Any unused benefit does not roll over.
A discounted Qantas Club membership of between 20-30% is available to your travellers. The account manager, registered user of your business's account, or the employee can call the Qantas Business Rewards Service Centre on 13 74 78 to set up the membership.

Please note, if the transaction value is $0.00, then the amount will not appear on the report – for example, if you change a flight and there was no charge to change that flight, it will not appear on the report. Flight refunds will not be included in the report.
Depending on your membership level, the information you will see in your report will be as follows:
Only Flight Redemptions where the points were redeemed directly from your Qantas Business Rewards account will appear on the reports. If any points were redeemed via an individual Frequent Flyer account, even if the ABN is entered, we will only show the cash equivalent amount on the report.
For example, if a customer chooses to change a Classic Flight Reward originally made via their Frequent Flyer account, and then pays a fare difference (such as the taxes), we will only show the ‘cash’ amount paid, not the equivalent amount of points. However, if a change is paid for using points directly from the Qantas Business Rewards account then both the points amount and cash transactions will appear.
The Excel reports provide your business with the paid currency amount made for the booking as well as the AUD equivalent currency. Excel reports will also show the ABN used to make the booking and have two tabs, one showing all flight, hotel and car hire expenses and another showing flight credits.
Reports will be available from the 7th day of each month, for transactions made in the month prior.

The reports include transactions for bookings made and tickets issued in that month.
As this is a new feature and due to privacy, your business will only be able to access data from December 2020 in your Qantas Business Rewards account.
Reports will be stored in your Qantas Business Rewards for two years.
Only your nominated users with full permissions can access these reports, so you can choose who is granted access. You can update and limit your permissions in the Manage People section of your Qantas Business Rewards account.
All bookings made in a calendar month should be included in the following months report. Our aim is to ensure that ticket purchase dates align to the date which appears on your credit card or bank statement. However, if a flight is booked late in the month it may appear in the report two months later
All you need to get started is a Xero user account with permissions set up to allow for connections. You can do this from your Xero account settings.
Flight related expenses on flights purchased through Qantas Airways Limited, including ancillary purchases, and Bookings that were made directly with Qantas, including bookings made via the Qantas Business Rewards website, travellers who booked for your business, and selected transactions made via qantas.com
Note - bookings made via the Qantas Contact Centres or with your preferred travel agent will not be provided to Xero. Note that Level 1 unverified users won’t get qantas.com transactions
In order to successfully connect your Qantas Business Rewards account with Xero, you must first have full access permissions within your Qantas Business Rewards account. Your Qantas Business Rewards Account Manager can specify user’s access and permissions by logging in and going to the ‘Manage People’ section of your account
You can invite users to your Qantas Business Rewards account. Don’t forget to give them 'full access' permissions so they are able to connect with Xero.
You may not be able to facilitate a connection with Xero if you don’t have permissions within your business’ Xero account. Simply speak to your Xero business admin to provide you with permissions. If you’re still unable to connect, you’ll need to contact Xero SupportOpens external site
Transactions will be sent to your Xero account daily, for purchases that were made ~72 hours after payment was taken from your nominated card or expense account.
In some cases, some transactions may appear delayed. This could be due to things like booking changes made after payment was taken.
Qantas Business Rewards will review your account once a month to pick up any transactions that are delayed. This usually occurs on the 5th of each month, with transactions posted to Xero within 24hrs.
You can easily disconnect your account through your Account Connections page on Qantas Business Rewards, or through your Xero account.
