Here's how to use your Reward Code

Scan your digital Qantas Frequent Flyer card from within the Qantas app or your device's digital wallet at a participating retailer.

When prompted, select the option to use your Qantas Points on the pinpad.

Enter the unique Reward Code found on your digital Qantas Frequent Flyer card to finalise your transaction.

Important: your Reward Code is different to your Qantas Frequent Flyer login PIN. After you use Qantas Points, the Reward Code displayed on your digital Frequent Flyer card will change; enabling you to have a unique code each time you use points with a participating retailer. For your security, please do not share your Reward Code or any screenshots of your digital Qantas Frequent Flyer card.

What is a Reward Code? Is the Reward Code different to my Qantas Frequent Flyer PIN?
Yes, the Reward Code is different to your account PIN. Your Reward Code is a 4-digit one-time code that can be used to complete your redemption transaction. This is displayed on your digital Qantas Frequent Flyer card, which you can find in your digital wallet or Qantas App.

To ensure member security when using points with our partners in store, you will need to enter your Reward Code that is found on your digital Qantas Frequent Flyer card, and not your account PIN. Your Reward Code will be refreshed after each successful transaction. Please do not share your Reward Code.

Where can I use my Reward Code to redeem Qantas Points?
You can use your Reward Code to redeem Qantas Points at participating bp stores. More participating retailers coming soon.

Why can’t I see my Reward Code on my digital Qantas Frequent Flyer card?
To view the Reward Code on your digital card in the Qantas app, please ensure you have updated to the latest version of the app. To view the Reward Code in your digital wallet, please ensure you have refreshed or manually updated your Qantas Frequent Flyer Card in Apple Wallet or Google Pay.

Check your internet connectivity - to see your Reward Code you need to have an active internet connection. Once you are successfully connected to the internet, click on ‘Try again’ button on the member card available on app or refresh your Apple wallet pass.

How do I get a digital wallet on my device so that I can add my Qantas Frequent Flyer card?
The majority of devices have a digital wallet app preloaded, depending on the device. For Apple iPhones, the app is called ‘Wallet’ and on Android devices, the app is called ‘Google Pay’. If your device does not have the app, it can be downloaded from the app store. Once you have a digital wallet app on your device, you can add your digital Qantas Frequent Flyer card.

Why haven't I been prompted to redeem Qantas Points when scanning my digital QFF card at bp?
You may not be prompted to redeem Qantas Points for the following conditions:

  1. If you have opted out from Redemption In-store 

  2. You have not made an eligible purchase 

  3. You do not have the minimum points required for redemption (min 1,900 points)

  4. You have exceeded the daily transaction limit of $300

  5. It is not a participating bp siteOpens external site

Why is my Reward Code locked?
You may have locked your Reward Code by entering an invalid code 3 times on the payment terminal. Your Reward Code will be unlocked automatically in 24 hours.

Will I be prompted to use Qantas Points on every in-store transaction at bp?
You will be prompted to use your Qantas Points in-store if you scan your digital Qantas Frequent Flyer card, if you have a minimum of 1,900 points and your eligible transaction is at least $10. You can manage your account preferences if you wish to change this.

Qantas Frequent Flyer members must log in to generate their digital card. Once the digital wallet has been installed, the data contained on the card within the wallet (ie Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number and its associated barcode) will be handled in accordance with the terms of service of Apple and Google, in accordance with the Qantas Privacy Policy, Your digital Qantas Frequent Flyer card within your digital wallet may not be accepted at all locations and is not accepted at Qantas airport lounges. As an alternative, you can show your physical Qantas Frequent Flyer card, or your digital card within the Qantas App.

^Using points at bp: To redeem Qantas Points at bp you must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member. Qantas Points can be redeemed in-store at eligible BP Rewards sitesOpens external site for all of your eligible purchases by scanning a Qantas Frequent Flyer barcode and entering the Reward Code found in the Qantas App or QFF digital card. The standard redemption rate is 1,900 Qantas Points for $10 off and you must meet a minimum purchase of $10 per eligible transaction. ~Earning points at bp: To earn Qantas Points with BP Rewards, you must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, a member of BP Rewards and choose to earn Qantas Points. BP Rewards members will earn 2 Qantas Points per whole litre of BP Ultimate Unleaded, 1 Qantas Point per whole litre of all other fuel and 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent in-store on eligible purchases (excluding smoking products, gift cards and other items - see BP Rewards websiteOpens external site for full list of ineligible products). Eligible BP Plus Members will earn 1 Qantas Point per whole litre of BP Ultimate Unleaded, 1 Qantas Point per 2 litres of all other fuel, 1 Qantas Point per $2 spent in-store on eligible purchases (excluding smoking products, gift cards and other items - see BP Rewards websiteOpens external site for full list of ineligible products).
