About this property

*****The New South Wales government announced a stay at home order for Sydney, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour which captures the star Sydney.
As a result, from 10.00pm 25 June 2021 The Star Sydney will temporarily close its casino, restaurants and recreational facilities and only room service for remaining guest will be available at this time.
These restrictions will remain in place until further notice*****
Located on the edge of Sydney’s harbour and a key feature of The Star’s $870 million redevelopment, The Darling Hotel and Spa is Sydney's newest five-star hotel featuring 171 stylish rooms and suites. The rooms and suites are designed to feel like a home away from home for both business and leisure travellers, with every detail carefully considered from the Molton Brown amenities to the customised mattresses and pillow menu.
The hotel also features a luxurious spa set to deliver pampering to all new levels with a range of unique treatments from around the world. Located on level 2 of The Darling, the spa offers 16 private rooms including an intimate couple’s treatment room and an indulgent hamam.
Residing in the lobby is contemporary Japanese restaurant and bar, Sokyo, by innovative chef Chase Kojima. Sokyo’s dishes explore beyond the usual confines of sashimi and sushi, showcasing fresh seafood direct from Sydney’s best local suppliers.
Guests are also invited to relax by the outdoor infinity pool complete with a bar and lounge deck area.
Guests of The Darling are able to enjoy the many entertainment and dining experiences The Star has to offer, all within the same complex. The Star offers more than 20 restaurants, bars, entertainment venues and cafes, a luxury retail collection, brand new nightclub and upscale gaming areas.
Restaurants include Stefano Manfredi’s modern Milanese venture, Balla, and Teage Ezard’s contemporary grill, BLACK by ezard, both enjoying spectacular views of the harbour and city. While world renowned New York chef, David Chang, has opened his first restaurant outside of the US at The Star called Momofuku Seiobo. Recently opened is one of Sydney's Cantonese favourites, Golden Century.
