Reservation & Payment Policy
• A valid credit card is required to secure and guarantee your booking.
• Reservations are not confirmed until Credit Card details are received.
• Our 4-bedroom units are a minimum stay of 2 nights- with a Non-refundable deposit taken at time of booking
• The balance of your accommodation is due 48 hours prior to your arrival date.
• A full buffet breakfast is available at a discounted rate if booked prior to arrival or at check-in (if not included in your accommodation package). This discount is only available with pre-booking breakfast.

Check-In & Bond Information
• Check-in time is from 2:00 PM. If you plan to arrive earlier, please contact reception. While we’ll do our best to accommodate early arrivals, room access cannot be guaranteed before 2:00 PM.
• A credit card pre-authorisation is required at check-in (separate from your reservation payment).
o This is a security bond, not a payment method, and will be automatically released after check-out.
o Release times vary by bank, typically 7 to 14 days.
o If no credit card is available, a cash bond of AUD $200 will be held and returned at departure.
• Please note: The bond cannot be used toward your stay. It is strictly held as security for room damages or incidentals.
• A valid photo ID is required at check-in. Only the person named on the reservation may check in.

o You are welcome to continue using our facilities until 5:00 PM on your departure day.
o A late check-out fee of $20 per 30 minutes applies for check-outs after 10:00 AM.

• Opal Cove Resort is a 100% non-smoking property.
• If the card on file is declined and we are unable to contact you, your reservation may be cancelled.
• No pets are allowed on the premises. However, registered service dogs are welcome. Please notify us in advance and provide proof of registration if bringing a service dog.
