We recommend you check the conditions applicable to your fare type for information about fees before cancelling your booking. If you’re unsure of your fare type, visit Manage booking or call your local Qantas office. Service fees may also apply when cancelling your booking.
How can I cancel my booking?
If your Qantas flight booking or Frequent Flyer Classic Flight Reward booking was made online at qantas.com or through selected Qantas offices, you may be able to cancel online by entering your details below.
On retrieving your booking, click the red ‘Cancel’ button and follow the prompts to cancel. If the 'Cancel' button is not available, contact your local Qantas office or, if your booking was made with a travel agent or another airline, contact them directly.
Note that if you’ve added other travel items to your booking, then they’ll be affected. If you’ve booked seats, additional baggage and car hire, these will be cancelled when you cancel your flight.
Cancellation applies to every passenger in your booking. To cancel individual passengers, you’ll first need to separate them from the booking. These passengers will be placed in a new booking with a separate booking reference. You can then cancel using the above steps.

Made a mistake while booking?
For bookings made at qantas.com, we’ll give you until midnight on the same day you make your booking to let us know you made a mistake, and we’ll correct your flight details with no change fees. Read about same day no mistake.
