About the Qantas Centre of Service Excellence

In January 2009, the Qantas Centre of Service Excellence was opened in Sydney.

The Qantas Centre of Service Excellence has become the hub for recruitment, induction, learning and development programs and service training. As well as being a training centre, the facility is used for showcasing the Qantas product through various events and functions.

The interactive Customer Experience Zones throughout the centre are designed to allow guests to live and breathe the Qantas brand and bring the customer end-to-end journey to life.

Since opening we have had over 300,000 guests visit the centre, attending a variety of training courses and events.

Features of the Qantas Centre of Service Excellence

Meeting rooms

There are a number of multi-use meeting rooms to choose from which can accommodate groups of 2 to 40 delegates. All meeting rooms have telephone, network and audio visual connectivity.

Mezzanine room

A private Boardroom for up to 40 guests with presentation facilities overlooking our product display centre.


The unique design of this space is ideal for product launches, cocktails, gala dinners and presentations. Customer experience zones offer an inspiring break out option for conferences or a great insight into the Qantas brand and our products on offer.


Acoustically designed theatrette with tiered seating, perfect for use as a small auditorium for groups of up to 132.

Image room

The image room is a versatile space set up like a professional make-up studio; it is here our frontline staff undergo grooming training.

Presentation room

In the presentation room we have salon style work stations, along with day spa massage tables. In this room we can conduct presentation and spa training.

Wine and Epicurean rooms

The Wine and Epicurean rooms facilitate our cabin crew sommelier and fine dining training. At Qantas we have a team of sommelier who are able to conduct wine training and food matching classes.
