Like Qantas, British Airways is a founding member of oneworld. Together with its affiliates, British Airways connects more than 200 destinations in 80 countries throughout Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Australia. Its home base and major hub is London's Heathrow Airport.

Network

Qantas flies direct between London (Heathrow) from Perth, or via Singapore with flights between Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth.

Once in London, you can fly Qantas codeshare services (operated by British Airways) between London (Heathrow) and Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford and Belfast in the United Kingdom, and between London (Heathrow) and Toulouse, Berlin, Zagreb, Basel, Budapest, Pisa and Marseilles in Continental Europe.

You can also connect to over 200 destinations from British Airways’ London hubs. Qantas Platinum and Gold Frequent Flyers travelling with British Airways are eligible to earn additional benefits across the British Airways network per the oneworld policy.

Qantas Frequent Flyers

Qantas Frequent Flyers can maximise Qantas Points and Status Credit earn by booking the codeshare flight (‘QF’ airline code) where possible, you can also earn Qantas Points and Status Credits on eligible fares and flights with the BA airline code.

You can use your Qantas Points on British Airways for Classic Flight Rewardsand Points Plus Pay – Flights.

Missed connections:

If you missed a connection due to the late arrival of your aircraft, the delivering carrier is responsible for ensuring you make your final destination.

Lost baggage:

If your baggage doesn't arrive on the same flight as you. Please contact the Arrival Service desk of the delivering carrier in the arrivals hall. A delayed baggage report will be created.
