Due to high demand, we're experiencing some delays in call wait times and the processing of flight credits and other options.

If your flights were booked through a travel agency or third-party website, contact these companies directly for assistance.

Also, check Manage Booking or flight status for the most up-to-date information on your flights.

When and where are the additional services?

A continuing network of flights from two key international hubs will be established - Los Angeles and London to help customers get home and facilitate essential travel.

What's different about these flights?

Flights are available one way in Economy only, and are being operated for repatriation and essential travel purposes only. Services for these flights will be significantly reduced including the following:

  • limited onboard food and beverage service.
  • inflight entertainment will be unavailable.
  • Qantas Frequent Flyer benefits (Status Credits, Qantas Points and the option to upgrade with points) will not apply.
  • First, Business and Premium Economy fares are unavailable.
  • Seat selection is also unavailable.

How to book

One way flights can be booked online at qantas.com or in the Qantas App for the flight numbers and dates listed below.

What you need to do after booking

As the Australian Government has implemented regulations in relation to passenger air travel and measures that must be taken to reduce the risks of COVID-19, all passengers are required to undergo a health screen and temperature check.

Therefore, before you're accepted for travel you'll be required to complete a pre-travel health screen form and temperature check.

Complete the pre-travel health screen form online.

If you have a pre-existing medical condition, you'll also be required to complete a travel clearance form. Go to our Medical Clearance page to review the information, download the form for completion and return to us as soon as possible.
