Link your invitation to your eligible flight by selecting the 'Add invitation' button next to your flight details. Note: You'll need to add your invitation to your flight at least 24 hours before departure, and before the expiry date. If you link an invitation within 24 hours of departure, you may have to wait for more than 20 minutes for the link to be processed.

Multi-city bookings

If you have a multi-city booking, only the first city will show in the list. Click 'Link invitation' to view your other flight segments.

Booking not listed?

If your Qantas booking isn't listed, go to Manage booking to check if your Frequent Flyer number is included.

Select the invitation you'd like to use. The type of Complimentary Lounge Invitation determines which lounge you can access, and eligible lounges will be shown once you link your invitation.

If you have a Jetstar booking, fill out the form ensuring all details are entered correctly, as incorrect details cannot be changed and your pass won't be linked to your flight.

Select lounge and confirm invitation

Once the invitation has been linked to your booking, you'll receive a confirmation email.

Then, when you're at the airport, present the email along with your boarding pass at the lounge entrance. You can access the lounge once check-in for your flight opens until your flight starts boarding.

Unlinking your invitation

If at any time before 24 hours of the departure of your eligible flight, you no longer wish to use your Complimentary Invitation, log in to your account, then click 'Cancel' next to the listed flight.

The Complimentary Lounge Invitation will revert to unused status and, provided it hasn't expired, can be linked to another eligible flight.

If you've changed or cancelled your flight within 24 hours of departure, you won't be able to unlink an associated Complimentary Lounge Invitation. At its sole discretion, Qantas may reinstate the Complimentary Lounge Invitation to unused status under certain circumstances, providing that the Complimentary Lounge Invitation hasn't expired.

If your flight has been changed by Qantas within 24 hours of departure, your invitation will automatically link to your new flight.

If your flight has been cancelled by Qantas or Jetstar within 24 hours of departure, you can request for your Complimentary Lounge Invitation to be reinstated to unused status via the Ancillary products refunds page.

Refer to the Complimentary Lounge Invitations terms and conditions for more information.

Transferring your invitation

You can transfer a Complimentary Lounge Invitation to another Qantas Frequent Flyer member with an active membership number.

You'll be responsible to inform the recipient of the transfer.

If you wish to transfer a Complimentary Lounge Invitation to a non-member, there's a link provided that will allow them to become a member without needing to pay the Join Fee.

While you can't reverse a transfer of a Complimentary Lounge Invitation you made to another Qantas Frequent Flyer, the recipient can equally transfer the Complimentary Lounge Invitation, including to yourself.
