Getting into from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport

Hotel and courtesy shuttles are also available. Public transport options include the Board Country Transit - a safe, reliable and efficient mass transit to and from the Airport. Commuter train Tri-Rail provides service to Miami-Dade County, Broward County and Palm Beach County. There are free shuttle buses from the FLL terminals to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Station at Dania Beach. Rental cars are available next to terminal 1 or you may wish to take a taxi from one of the many providers.
Getting around in Fort Lauderdale
Once you arrive in Fort Lauderdale, there are a number of transport options to get around. Fort Lauderdale is a great city for getting around by bike. Few of the hotels are actually right on the beach, so a bike ride along the beach road provides water views. Water taxi is a fun option to explore the southern Florida coast. The water taxi goes from 32nd Street in Fort Lauderdale to the Las Olas shopping area downtown and then all the way down to Hollywood. There are bars and restaurants by some of the boat stops. The Fort Lauderdale Sun Trolley bus is a series of routes that covers not just the beach road, but also neighbourhoods, downtown and a connection to the airport bus.
