'Wizarding World of Harry Potter' is Opening at Universal Studios Hollywood

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will open at Hollywood’s Universal Studios on April 7, 2016.

The park will be the third of its kind, following the successful openings of Wizarding Worlds in Orlando, Florida and Osaka, Japan.

From the spellbinding Hogwarts Castle to the whimsical town of Hogsmeade, guests will be able to visit real-life interpretations of shops and bars – like the Three Broomsticks, Ollivanders and more – from J.K. Rowling’s books and movies.

On the park’s signature ride, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, thrill-seekers will be provided with Quidditch-inspired 3D goggles, as they pivot 360-degrees along an elevated track.

Otherwise, families are invited to enjoy the Flight of the Hippogriff outdoor coaster together.
