Qantas magazine’s dramatic redesign and refreshed content has been acknowledged at this year’s prestigious Publish Awards, with the inflight magazine picking up a raft of gongs.
Editor-in-Chief, Kirsten Galliott, was named Editor of the Year for a consumer or custom publication at the industry event held at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney on September 15.
The magazine, highly commended in the Custom Magazine of the Year category, also won Best App on Mobile or Tablet Device and the publication’s commercial arm won Sales Team of the Year.
Qantas magazine publisher, Medium Rare Content Agency, was named Consumer/Custom Publishing Company of the Year.
"Relaunching the Qantas magazine, the Travel Insider website and the app was a mammoth task. It feels as if we haven't caught our breath in 16 months," said Editor-in-Chief Kirsten Galliott.
"But the hard work has paid off - we've had an incredible year - and these awards are a lovely acknowledgement of the team's dedication to quality and passion for the Qantas brand.
"Now we just have to do it all again - and then some!"
Medium Rare Content Agency has published Qantas Magazine since July 2015.
