Catch the spectacle of more than 500 hot air balloons taking to the sky at the annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, held in 2020 between 3 October and 11 October. It’s the world’s largest balloon festival but watching them track across the sky isn’t the only highlight—there are fireworks, chainsaw sculpture carving and a delicious trail of food stands to help you through the dawn patrol.
