A Bird's-Eye View in Estonia
Climb Toompea, a limestone hill considered the birthplace of Estonia’s capital city, Tallinn. The Knights of the Sword built a fortress here circa 1229 and modern-day viewing platforms offer gorgeous views to the Old Town and the sea. Visit the castle, with its Baroque façade, then ascend the tower of Saint Olaf’s Church (€2) for an even better view.
