Travel is back and many of us are making plans for holidays we can’t wait to have. To help make planning easier and give you peace of mind, Fly Flexible lets you change your international and Trans-Tasman Qantas flights as often as you need – without incurring change fees. A fare difference may apply. Here’s everything you need to know about Qantas Fly Flexible.
What is Qantas Fly Flexible?
Fly Flexible gives you fee-free date changes for your international and Trans-Tasman Qantas flight bookings or if you’re not sure when to rebook for, you can request a flight credit instead – fare differences may apply depending on your rebooked flights.

- To be used for travel between 1 November 2021 and 31 December 2022
Australia-New Zealand flights

- To be used for travel between 16 October 2020 and 31 December 2022
Australian domestic flights
- Flight must be booked between 21 May 2020 and 30 April 2022

How to change your flight
Even if you’ve started working on your itinerary and packing your bags, it’s important to allow for a change of plans. If you have to make use of Qantas Fly Flexible to alter the dates of your international or Trans-Tasman flight, simply go to the Manage Booking page, enter your booking reference and last name, and select the change option before your scheduled date of departure.
The new flight dates must be within 12 months of your original booking date and fare differences may apply.
How to use your flight credit
If you aren’t sure when to rebook your flight for, you may prefer to request a flight credit instead – just remember that fare differences may apply when making your new booking and they’ll need to be covered by you. Qantas has created a handy video to walk you through the process.
Flight Credits are valid for one year from the date you made your original booking and the Qantas standard fare rules apply.
