Sydney electronic music duo Flight Facilities – aka Hugo Gruzman and James Lyell describe San Franscisco as “one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the world. The city has a lot of similarities to Sydney in its look, music scene and crowd, so we never feel too far from home when we’re in town.”

Most recently, the pair played their effortlessly upbeat catalog at San Fran’s oldest – and still operating – music venues, the Regency Ballroom. Here are their top three spots to hang out in Shaky Town, offstage.

Mission Dolores Park

"It's hard to go past Mission Dolores Park on a Sunday afternoon. It looks over the cityscape. Head to Bi-Rite Creamery if it's not too cold for an ice-cream, too. (Choc Chip or Vanilla if you need the extra recommendation!)"

Four Barrel Coffee

"Good coffee can be hard to come by outside Australia. But Four Barrel Coffee is located in the Mission District and is a safe haven to get a great coffee and use some wi-fi."

"Easily one of the biggest record shops left in the world, Amoeba has everything from brand new to second hand vinyl, CDs, posters and music-related toys. It's a testament to their quality that something like this can survive outside the digital market."
