The Ludlow Hotel – Review

The Ludlow Hotel is as a cool as you’d expect a hotel on the Lower East Side, one of New York’s hippest neighbourhoods, to be.
A step into the lobby reveals exposed brick walls and wooden ceiling beams, as well as an abundance of buttery leather couches. The industrial-chic styling continues into the rooms themselves, with casement windows framing some seriously impressive views of the New York skyline. Add plush beds, a wall-mounted television, animal-skin throws and a very well-stocked mini-bar (including locally made sweet treats) and you’ve got yourself a home-away-from-home within walking distance of some of the cities most interesting haunts.
But you need not venture far for good food. The on-site restaurant, Dirty French, is regarded as one of the best French restaurants in the city so you best book ahead if you want to try its twists on Continental classics.
