Wynwood Art Walk

Just north of Downtown Miami is Wynwood, an area that has become the epicentre of Miami’s transformation into a cultural destination. Once a rather shabby industrial area, many of the abandoned warehouses here have been converted into studios, cafés, galleries and excellent restaurants. One of the major attractions is the array of striking street art murals that cover many of the walls and comprise one of the largest outdoor galleries in the world. Simply going for a stroll through Wynwood would make a great day out – but Wynwood Art Walk offers a leisurely tour that’s a good way to orient yourself in the neighbourhood while sharing insights into the artworks and the artists who made them. Also incorporating local bars and cafés, the tours run regularly but can be customised for private groups to include visits to specific galleries and artist’s studios.
