Style Mafia

Set inside a cavernous warehouse in Wynwood, Style Mafia is one of the local Miami brands boosting the city’s fashion reputation. The creation of fashion blogger and dedicated thrift-shop hunter Simonett Pereira, the label was born out of her frustration with an inability to find fashion-forward clothes at reasonable prices, which is why you’ll find little over $200 here. But don’t think less of it because it’s well priced: the only thing more surprising than the relative good value of these pieces is their level of quality and sophistication. Designed in-house, sometimes in collaboration with local artists, Style Mafia offers innovative designs with a streetwise edge and rococo flourishes that acknowledge Miami’s Versace glory days.
Location
Just north of Downtown Miami is Wynwood, an area that has become the epicentre of Miami’s transformation into a cultural destination. Once a rather shabby industrial area, many of the abandoned warehouses here have been converted into studios, cafés, galleries and excellent restaurants.
