Get Your Sugar Fix at Dylan's Candy Bar

Owned by Ralph Lauren’s daughter, the eponymous Dylan, this Miami outlet of the New York original is a Willy Wonka treasure trove for all the Charlies in your life. The demented multi-colour interior puts you in the mood for losing control, as do the novelty candy containers in the shape of cupcakes, oversized gummy bears and paint cans, ready to be filled from the pick ‘n’ mix pillars. A lot of foreigners won’t recognise many of the brands in the “nostalgia” gift buckets and “time capsules” – each themed on a past decade – but that doesn’t make them less fun for the recipient. And the designer Belgian-chocolate candy bars or chocolate-covered pretzels in smart presentation boxes will make you a returning hero in the eyes of anyone, no matter their age.
Location
SoBe for short, South Beach brings Latino sass and sensuality to the puritan shores of the United States. Lined with iconic Art Deco hotels and some of the best restaurants in America, South Beach can be glam or rowdy but it’s never boring.
