Supporting young designers and artists, Armaggan was established to promote the research, development and preservation of Anatolian craftsmanship. Under their own brand Nar (meaning pomegranate), the gallery produces, sources and sells modern jewellery, silk caftans, home furnishings, objects d’art, leather goods, naturally dyed textiles, carpets and a range of food products. The shop on Nuruosmaniye Street, close to the Grand Bazaar, is luxury department store-meets-museum-meets-cultural centre. In the same building, you’ll find their art and design gallery and their restaurant, Nar Lokanta, a great place to wind down, perhaps after a morning in the Grand Bazaar.
