...it would probably be the pastel-hued villages of the Italian Riviera’s Cinque Terre. All together now, say “Chink-weh Tay-reh”. Dating to the 11th century, these five little towns hug the cliffs of a rugged 11-kilometre coastal stretch, with none more than a two-hour walk from the next. They are also connected by train and ferry services (cars are banned from the village centres). So which town is the one for you?
