Intimate yet relaxed, Balthazar works equally well for romantic dinners as it does for business entertaining. Operating for more than 16 years, the restaurant – which is located in a much-loved Art Deco building – is consistently good and exciting, while the service is some of the best in town. Nab a spot in the entrance area and have a Champagne under the chandeliers before heading to your seat in the darkened depths of the restaurant and supping on cuttlefish linguine or spatchcock with eggplant and kohlrabi.
