If steak is your weakness this is your destination, right in the Crown complex. Neil Perry’s smart, sleek grill has other fare to offer – spicy mussel and saffron stew, grilled Flinders Island lobster, chicken cooked on the rotisserie – but, really, it’s all about weighing up whether you’d rather have a dry-aged Cape Grim fillet or a 240-gram piece of Blackmore wagyu skirt. Be sure to choose from the selection of the wicked sides (the sautéed Brussels sprouts with speck and chestnuts are amazing). At lunchtime, especially, the crowd here is a blend of well-heeled out-of-towners and tables of business types cooking up deals.
