This bluestone building, originally built in 1875, has been completely transformed. Architectural firm Multiplicity added a contemporary annexe to the house and then converted the entirety into a luxurious retreat of four individual suites, each with bespoke art and contemporary finishes. Number 2 has a fireplace and private use of the wide upstairs verandah overlooking the Moyne River, while Number 4 boasts a big-screen projector and a linear bathroom partly open to the sleeping quarters. Room 3 has its own touch of history: the walls are lined in reclaimed timber from the original building. An adults-only retreat, this is ideal for romantic escapes.

Port Fairy is one of the last towns on the Great Ocean Road route. A former whaling station, it has a rich history, antique stores, independent boutiques and beautiful short walks, including one around the lighthouse on Griffiths Island.
