Family Fun at Cleland Wildlife Park

It’s a fact: Koala hugs are the best kind. The moment at Cleland Wildlife Park when a keeper hands the Aussie icon over and it wraps itself around you is not forgotten easily. The park’s koalas are cute, furry and sometimes bigger than you expect. There are very few cages at Cleland Wildlife Park, so the koala experience is just one way you can get close with Australian fauna. It’s also one of the few places where you can hold a koala. There’s also potoroos, kangaroos, wallabies, emus and waterfowl to be seen – so if all that cute doesn’t give you the warm and fuzzies, maybe holding a snake is more your thing.
