With Noosa Main Beach literally on the doorstep, this recently refurbished resort is an easy win for lovers of sun, sand and surf. But location aside, it’s the thoughtful extras that stand out here: umbrellas in the event of a downpour, a guest transit lounge and babysitting services. If, for some reason, the beach doesn’t beckon, the three pools (heated in winter) and spa provide the place to have a dip. There’s a wading pool for the kids, a barbecue deck for entertaining and each apartment has a large balcony. The beach and nearby Noosa Woods are great for jogging and a well-equipped gym meets other fitness needs. While it might seem geared towards families, couples are also well looked after at Seahaven – look out for romance packages, which include champagne and pamper packs.
