Grab your plus fours and head for the links: this area has a reputation as a hub of top-notch golf courses and players of all levels will enjoy the myriad fairways available here. Most notable is 27-hole Royal Pines, which hosts the PGA Australian Championships.

Also worthy of mention are Links Hope Island, ranked as one of the top 20 courses in Australia, the Greg-Norman designed Glades Golf Club, The Palms, Sanctuary Cove, which was recently revamped in an $8.8 million reconstruction (sadly, adjoining course The Pines, the only signature Arnold Palmer course in Australia is members only), and Palm Meadows, which American Golf Digest rated 18th in the world's top 500 golf holes. 


All courses are within a close drive – none more than about 30 minutes from downtown Surfers.
