Is This Australia's Most Scenic Yoga Class?

If doing downward dog on a UNESCO world heritage listed monument is on your bucket list, you're in luck.
Until the 15th of December the Opera House will be hosting Sunrise on the Steps – a series of thrice-weekly morning yoga sessions – allowing yogis to sweat and stretch at the world-renowned entertainment venue for $25 per lesson.

The hour-long classes are held in the Concert Hall Northern Foyer on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 7am and Saturdays at 7:30am and 9am, where expansive glass windows invite the sunlight into the makeshift classroom for a truly atmospheric experience. The panoramic vista over Sydney Harbour is a constant and welcome companion, too.

Led by Barefoot Yoga founder Crawf Weir, sessions will cater for all skill levels and all equipment, including mats and blankets for cosy post-class meditation, is included. Just pop on your activewear, bring a towel and a water bottle and get ready to greet Sydney in the most Sydney way possible.
