A longstanding Paddington gem, Ariel Booksellers is an independent bookstore specialising in architecture, art, design, fashion and photography titles. There is a small collection of gifts, Haigh’s Chocolates and stationery, as well as a lovely reading nook for children. The friendly and knowledgeable staff offer excellent reviews across all genres and run a number of events throughout the year.

Leafy Paddington may be just minutes from the CBD yet it retains its village feel. Meander down Oxford Street, William Street and Glenmore Road to discover Australian designer boutiques, specialty stores and pocket-sized art galleries. Lunch at Jackies Café wouldn’t go amiss.
