“Bella’s” rolls off the tongue like one of her sumptuous desserts. Bella Jakubiak, the 2011 My Kitchen Rules co-winner, has set up her first restaurant, at Tallagandra Hill winery on the outskirts 
of Canberra. The sophisticated fare includes creamy duck and juniper pâté with just-toasted brioche and slow-cooked pepperberry lamb with smoked eggplant tempura. Luscious pear pie in an almond crust is another winner, as is the wine list. The eclectic retro décor includes a vintage jukebox; select tunes from the 45-rpm records for background music.
