Three Buns, a gourmet burger joint, takes up the first two levels, alongside handpainted murals and curios galore. Sink your teeth into its full-flavoured, juicy burgers with names like Burning Man and James Brown aka The “Codfather” of Soul, and be sure to order the Naughty Fries, featuring an umami bomb of toppings: spiced béarnaise, hot beef chilli and crisp shallots. Once you’re done with food, move on to drinks at Studio1939 Lounge, the decadent, speakeasy-style lounge bar on level three. If you’d rather be sipping on craft cocktails under the stars, The Rooftop Garden houses an urban herb garden and a fairy lights-outlined view of the cultural institutions and modern high-rise buildings in the ’hood.
