Bali Bird Park

Providing fascinating close encounters of the bird kind, this atmospheric park is a highly interactive tourist attraction and great day out for the family. As well as operating a conservation and breeding program, Bali Bird Park has the largest collection of Indonesian birds in the world, as well as a colourful assortment of winged creatures from Africa, Australia and South America.
Lush palm-filled gardens are home to exotic sights, including a stunning albino peacock, which struts around in a dazzling display of white feathers, and a white-crested hornbill that oddly resembles a punk rocker with a fantastic white crest and long, dark eyelashes. Cheeky macaws and black cockatiels play up for cameras, while flamingos prance along the lake edge. Wander through the cool, dense Papuan Rainforest – a giant walk-through aviary shrouded in jungle foliage. Make time, too, for the Basic Instinct Bird of Prey Show, which features majestic falcons, eagles and owls.
