Perth Airport Transformation
The Qantas experience is something you should be able to enjoy on the ground as much as you do in the air. For that reason we've been investing heavily in Perth Airport so you can enjoy new, improved facilities as we continue to grow our services to, from and within Western Australia.
These will help make your journey through the airport easier and more enjoyable than ever.
Making your airport experience more enjoyable
In 2015 we're expanding into Terminal 3 to create a stylish Qantas domestic precinct in Perth (Terminal three and Terminal four), which will help provide a seamless and enjoyable experience when you travel with us.
We're refreshing the interiors as well as improving the flooring and lighting. We're also installing Faster, Smarter Check-in technology, including Auto Bag Drops to make the journey through the airport more seamless for you. You'll find all our Qantas Domestic and Regional services (Qantas, Jetstar, QantasLink and Network Aviation) operating from the same Domestic precinct as we obtain sole use of both Terminals 3 and 4. The new precinct will deliver a better airport experience as a result of improved gate access, faster security screening and quicker check-in at the new precinct.
Somewhere to relax
We have also opened a new domestic Business Lounge. Spread over 1,400sqm the lounge provides a spacious and stylish retreat for over 350 customers. Representing the next evolution of the Qantas Business Lounge, it features the latest design innovations with local and regional influences throughout. The lounge also offers dedicated work zones with meeting room and conference facilities, as well as our wide selection of delicious food and drink choices and new innovations such as a fresh bar with barista coffee, juice and fresh bakery, a pizza oven and flexible zones for relaxing, dining and work. This new Business Lounge environment will make your next trip an absolute pleasure.
Our network and services
We are investing heavily in regional Western Australia, having expanded QantasLink and Qantas capacity over the past few years, now operating over 280 return flights with 75,000 seats to regional Western Australia each week.
Currently Qantas and QantasLink* connect Perth to 15 destinations across Australia. 125 return flights are operated with 65,000 seats to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane each week, including on the refreshed A330s with new fully-flat beds in Business and next generation Economy seats.
Investment in the Perth Qantas precinct and construction of a new Business Lounge, combined with the refreshed A330s is setting a new benchmark in domestic travel, both on the ground and in the air.
