Qantas Airways to Begin New Flights Between San Francisco and Vancouver, Canada
Los Angeles, May 3, 2006Travelers Can Experience the Luxuries of International Air Travel Between Two North American Cities During Peak Season at Low Introductory Fares

During the peak travel season, Qantas Airways is adding new non-stop flights between San Francisco and Vancouver, Canada. Offering internationally renowned in-flight service for travel between the U.S. and Canada, these new seasonal flights are scheduled to operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from June 14 – August 13, 2006 and December 1, 2006 – January 31, 2007.

Mariani, senior executive vice president for Qantas Airways, The Americas and Pacific. “For a limited time, we are offering an unbelievably low fare to make this travel experience even more rewarding and much less expensive than driving,” he added.
For travel between Vancouver and San Francisco, the fares for this limited time offer start at just US$99 (CAN$115) one-way Economy and US$419 (CAN$499) one-way Business per person, and round-trip purchase is not required. This exclusive offer must be purchased by June 30, 2006, and is valid for travel on Qantas flights 73 and 74 only and does not include taxes and fees.
QF Flight 73 departs San Francisco at 12:15 p.m. and arrives in Vancouver at 2:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. QF Flight 74 departs Vancouver at 6:20 p.m. arriving in San Francisco at 8:40 p.m. this summer. Adding more than 1,000 seats weekly, these international flights offer unmatched comfort, convenience and flexibility.
All Qantas international flights from North America feature complimentary meals, bar service and personal seat-back TV screens in all classes, providing endless entertainment and gaming options.
