John Travolta Jets to Melbourne for Formula 1 Qantas Australian Grand Prix

Qantas announced today one of the biggest names in Hollywood, John Travolta, will jet in to Melbourne to attend the 2010 FORMULA 1 QANTAS AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX.
The Qantas Ambassador-at-Large will fly in to Australia on Saturday 27 March to attend the iconic event over the weekend.
Qantas CEO Alan Joyce said "We are delighted to be welcoming John Travolta back to Australia to attend this world class event."
"Qantas has been associated with the Grand Prix since Formula 1 came to Australia in 1985 and we are especially looking forward to this year's event with Qantas as the Premier Partner."
John Travolta has been a Qantas Ambassador-at-Large since 2002 and over the years has undertaken a number of activities associated with the airline including the Spirit of Friendship Tour - piloting his own Qantas Boeing 707; the launch of Qantas' inaugural A380 flight between Australia and Los Angeles and most recently the G'day USA ball in Los Angeles.
Australian Grand Prix Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Drew Ward, said "We can't wait to welcome John Travolta to Melbourne for the Grand Prix and I'm sure all Australians will be excited to see him at the circuit."
The 2010 FORMULA 1 QANTAS AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX will be held at Albert Park in Melbourne from 25-28 March.
