737s Take Off For Karratha, Broome and Kalgoorlie

The first of two Qantas 737s dedicated to regional Western Australia takes off for Karratha tomorrow.
The first service departs Perth at 0620, arriving in Karratha at 0820.
Qantas Regional General Manager Western Australia Ian Gay said the Perth-Karratha return services would operate twice-daily from Monday to Friday, and once a day on Saturdays and Sundays.

"The timing of our Karratha flights has been tailored specifically for the business market, and for the offshore requirements of the companies operating in the area.
"Qantas 737 Perth-Broome services will commence on 9 February, with a daily return flight on weekdays and twice daily flights on the weekend. Kalgoorlie 737 flights take off a few days later on the 11th, offering twice daily weekday services and daily weekend flights," Mr Gay said.
"We believe the additional capacity these aircraft offer will be welcomed by the tourism industry in Broome, and will also be well suited to the mix of business and leisure activity of Kalgoorlie," he said.
