New QantasLink flights to commence to 6 June

QantasLink today announced that its new flights between Wollongong (Illawarra Regional Airport) on the NSW south coast and Melbourne would commence on Monday 6 June.
Introductory fares for the new services were also launched today with prices starting from $99.00* one way plus surcharges, fees and taxes of $44.00.
Executive General Manager Regional Airlines Narendra Kumar said QantasLink would operate seven return services each week between Wollongong and Melbourne.
"The QantasLink schedule will enable Wollongong originating customers to have a day return trip to Melbourne on weekdays and will provide for a second evening departure on Wednesdays and Fridays.
"Services from Melbourne will include a morning service on Mondays and Thursdays and an evening departure from Monday to Friday," he said.
"We look forward to welcoming our first customers on board QantasLink on Monday 6 June."
The schedule from Wollongong (Illawarra Regional Airport) to Melbourne is:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday QF2741 Departs 6.30am, arrives 8.05am
Monday and Thursday QF2743 Departs 8.25am, arrives 10am
Wednesday and Friday QF2749 Departs at 7.50pm, arrives at 9.25pm
The schedule from Melbourne to Wollongong (Illawarra Regional Airport) is:
Monday and Thursday QF2740 Departs 6.30am, arrives 8.05am
Monday to Friday QF2748 Departs 5.55pm, arrives 7.30pm
