How to Enable JavaScript

If you do not have JavaScript enabled on your browser the site may not display as designed. To enable your browser for JavaScript follow the steps that apply to the browser you are using.

PC Users

Internet Explorer 5.5 and above

  1. From Tools select Internet Options
  2. Under the Security tab select the Internet icon
  3. Click the Custom level button
  4. For each of the options for Scripting, ensure 'enable' is selected
  5. Click OK
  6. Click OK

Firefox 1.0.x

  1. From Tools select Options
  2. Select the Web Features icon
  3. Ensure 'Enable Java' and 'Enable Javascript' are ticked
  4. Click OK

Mozilla 1.7.x

  1. From Edit select Preferences
  2. From the left hand side menu click on + to open Advanced
  3. Ensure 'Enable Java' is ticked
  4. Click OK

Opera 8.x

  1. From Tools select Preferences
  2. Select the Advanced tab
  3. From the left hand side menu select Content and ensure 'Enable JavaScript', 'Enable Java' and 'Enable plug-ins' are ticked
  4. Click OK

Netscape 7.x

  1. From Edit select Preferences
  2. From the left hand side menu select Advanced
  3. Ensure 'Enable Java' is ticked
  4. Click OK

Mac Users

Internet Explorer 5.2

  1. From Explorer select Preferences
  2. Open the Web Browser menu and select Java
  3. Ensure 'Enable Java', 'Log Java output' and 'Log Java exceptions' are ticked
  4. Click OK

Opera 8.x

  1. From Opera select Preferences
  2. Under Advanced ensure 'Enable plug-ins', 'Enable Java' and 'Enable JavaScript' are ticked
  3. Click OK

Safari 1.3.x and Safari 2.x

  1. From Safari select Preferences
  2. Under Security ensure 'Enable plug-ins', 'Enable Java', and 'Enable JavaScript' are ticked
  3. Close this window
