Seat Request Help
To request a seat, choose a passenger from the 'Flight Information' panel on the left hand side. Seats must be requested for all passengers and flights in the itinerary.
You can request your seat on a Qantas flight at any time after making your booking up until 24 hours before departure.
Within 24 hours of departure, go straight to 'Check-in' as this will allow you to select your seats and check-in. You can select your seat at no charge within 24 hours of departure via online check-in or the Check-in Kiosks at the airport.
Available directly after booking, seat selection is complimentary if you are travelling internationally in First, Business or Premium Economy cabins or on an Economy Saver or Flex fare, or are a Platinum, Gold or Silver Frequent Flyer or equivalent oneworld Frequent Flyer, or are travelling on any Qantas operated domestic service (except QantasLink). All passengers travelling with you in the same booking also enjoy complimentary Seat Selection.
Seat Selection is available for a charge for customers travelling in International Economy on Sale fares. Bronze Frequent Flyers also have the option of redeeming Qantas Points to request a seat.^
Once you have completed your seat requests, seats for all flights will display in the 'Flight Summary' panel at the top of the page. Roll your mouse over the seat numbers to see which passenger is allocated to each seat. Extra Legroom seats are displayed in red.
