When to visit
Toulouse is a year-round destination with plenty of warm days in summer and snow in the surrounding mountains to ski during winter (December to March. Summer (June to August) is a popular time to visit to enjoy a picnic in the park or walk around Jardin Royal. Temperatures in summer average around 25°C. Spring (March to May) and autumn are also popular times to visit with fewer crowds, making is a good time to enjoy the museums and Le Capitole. Temperatures are cooler and range around 17°C.

Getting into Toulouse from Toulouse Airport
With a wide range of transport options available at Toulouse Airport, travelling into the city centre is easy. Choose from tram, bus, coach, taxi, airport transfer, hotel shuttle, car rental or Uber. The T2 tram line links Toulouse city centre directly with the airport with trams running every 20 minutes and travel time is around 35 minutes. From the airport take bus line 30 to reach the city centre or use the airport shuttle that takes around 20 minutes. Taxis are a convenient way to travel and the taxi ranks are located on the ground floor, on the arrivals level, between Gates B3 (Hall B) and C1 (Hall C). Alternatively, you may wish to request an Uber through the app. For a private way to travel, organise a chauffeur-driven car to travel between Toulouse-Blagnac Airport and Toulouse. Hiring a car in Toulouse is a good way to move around with major car rental providers available at the airport.

Getting around Toulouse is easy with plenty of transport options to suit your needs. Choose from metro, bus, taxis, Uber, on foot and bikes. With its 2 metro lines, A and B, Toulouse benefits from a very fast and comfortable means of traveling around the city. The many stations in the city centre allow you to enjoy the sites and museums without tiring your feet too much. The tramway line is a good way to get around the city and connects with the metro. By bus, there are many routes across the city and surrounding areas, providing an efficient service in the area. Tickets for public transport can be bought at ticket offices, machines and though the ticket easy app. Taxis are available and many are located at the central place du Capitole, or you may wish to request and Uber. A popular way of getting around Toulouse is to hire a bike, with stands throughout the city. Discover the historic streets of the city centre, enjoy the banks of the Garonne or the Canal du Midi along the old town or cross the Pont-Neuf.
