Hobart travel information
When to visit
Hobart has four defined seasons, which will determine when you plan to visit and what activities you’d like to do. January and February are the driest months, with the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race and Food and Wine festivals running. Temperatures range around 22°C. Autumn is very pleasant with nice sunny days and no humidity. Winter is characterised by Antarctic winds and has some of the country's coldest temperatures, ranging around 6 to 9°C. And although spring is the wettest time of year, Hobart is Australia’s second-driest capital city and a beautiful place to visit.
