When to visit

Bergen is located on the west coast of Norway. The best time to visit in the summer, between May and September. If you visit in May, you can experience the beautiful cherry trees around Lille Lungegårdsvann. In mid-summer, the average daily temperature is around 19°C, but on hot days it may reach 25°C, perfect for a dip in the sea. Autumn is a lovely time to see the colours of the city's changing leaves and in winter there can be some snow dropping to °C to 2°C.
