A touch smaller than Coronet Peak, this resort sits on the mountain ranges of the same name. And just like the name, these Mountains and the resort sitting amongst them are truly remarkable. Ideal for beginners due to its wide, friendly ranges, The Remarkables ski resort include some of the best vistas and views in New Zealand. If you’re willing to hike, there are some harder runs around the mountain ranges. We suggest renting a car and staying in Queenstown just a short 40 minute drive away.

The resort boasts long runs of untouched powdery snow, and secluded, cosy accommodation. There isn’t much overcrowding, which is ideal for pro skiers, due to no rental facilities and only a few rope tows.
