It is known worldwide for its Leaning Tower (the bell tower of the city’s cathedral) with plenty of other historic churches and lovely bridges across the Arno to explore. The city is known for its elite university, has a vibrant cafe and bar scene, as well as its Romanesque buildings, Gothic churches and lively piazzas.
