It takes between 30 to 40 minutes to reach the city depending on the traffic. It's possible to rent a car near the arrivals area, or you may wish to organise a hotel shuttle or private transfer.

The city also has a public bike hire scheme with more than 200 km of bike lanes and you can cycle through Barcelona's open spaces and parks.
